Maruthai Pillai and Sri. P. Govindaswamy, Century Flour Mills was established in the year 1953 with an initial capacity of 30 MT per day. The equipments were supplied and installed by M/S Robinsons of England and was the first pneumatic mill established East of Suez, incorporating the direct pneumatic lift.
