Ghodawat Foods International Pvt Ltd (GFIPL) is the FMGC arm of Sanjay Ghodawat Group, engaged in manufacturing Edible Oil by solvent extraction and refining processes. This unit was set up in 2003 with an initial production capacity to the tune of 250 MTPD of crushing capacity and 100 MTPD of refining capacity. It has two manufacturing plants out of which one is at Chipri (Via Jaysingpur) in Kolhapur District (Western Maharashtra), having a production capacity of 250 MTPD and another unit is at Gangakhed in Parbhani (North Eastern Maharashtra), having a production capacity of 500 MTPD. GFIPL offers edible oils like Soya, Sunflower, Groundnut, Cotton Seed, Palm, Coconut & Rice bran under its own brand named Star 555. GFIPL has also ventured into producing world class Soya Protein products under the technical know-how from the Taiwan. The Company has strong domestic distribution network across Western and Southern India.
